WHY JOIN?

In the 2023 Legislative Session, 13 Oregon Senators opposed a bill ensuring safe abortion access for minors in cases of abuse. These same Senators went so far as to shut down the Oregon Legislature for over a month to try and please their far-right anti-choice funders. WINPAC’s mission to provide early money and mentorship to first time, pro-choice, Democratic women candidates  has never been more important. 

The Oregon Right to Life is swiftly gaining power, support and money. In addition to their anti-choice agenda, they specifically target women of color running for office. The 2024 campaign aims to elect and support new candidates while launching a new mentorship program. Contributions help expand mentorship, support rebranding efforts, and boost early campaign support for candidates.
